Because fans should be critical, too

Part 3.1 of the Korranalysis is Up

Part three will have to be uploaded in several parts because Youtube is a self-righteous automaton. I really need to seek out a much better video service…

Great part 1 of this review dude. youve really come a long way 🙂
Mako: everything you said I agree with. Bryke! FIX HIM!
Pema and the kids: IM glad that in the dont really care category wasnt really a bad thing. to me all of these characters will get more development in the later books. like you said they all did there job so you cant fault them for not getting more.
Tahno: like I said above he did his job and im hoping for more.
Hiroshi sato: that scene where he attacks his daughter to me just always seemed like a rage attack because asami just said that he didnt love her mom anymore which is the MAIN reason for joining the equalists. Hes in jail in book 2 and Im hoping for some Zuko and Iroh esk jail sequences. again he seems like somone who will get more development in book 2.

anyway great review and the opening joke was actually pretty funny albeit in a so bad its actually hilarius kinda funny. other than that the video was funny as the last. great work

I’d like to nominate General Fanservice Iroh for the hated characters list. Maybe it’s just me, but I haaaaate when a show blatantly panders to me, and that’s what he’s all about. The show very clearly thinks we should think he’s the greatest coolest thing since sliced bread long before he’s done anything to earn it.

I think my favorite moment is when he’s first introduced. Not only do we have Dante Basco doing exactly the same voice as he did for Zuko, but we have this wonderful little moment where the guy who actually first says his name inserts this little dramatic pause before saying it. It’s not “Yadda yadda yadda General Iroh.” It’s “Yadda yadda yadda… General Iroh.” BOOM! YOU SHOULD ALL BE SQUEALING WITH FAN GLEE RIGHT NOW!

No show. No. Stop it. Bad show. No biscuit.
